Default AI Proposals

Excellent news............this has to be very good for PP. Plus, they must also think it will be worth their while financially which may be a sign of good things to come?

comment above relates to http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...html#post51793

Slightly off topic I know but any more news/developments on the HORRENDOUS proposals of some of the larger hotels/resorts to go fully inclusive.....yuk......??

Cheers.

I spoke to a friend who's husband works for the Pollensa Park Hotel and she said it was not true. I have not heard or read any more about AI coming here, there are a couple of places that have it as an option but that is all.

Good! I heard that the Duva apartments were seriously considering it??

Hopefully it will not be the trend and PP can remain the kind of place it is because of that.

Nick i am pretty sure that the Duva is one of the places that already have it as an option.

These are the only hotels that we know about who offer AI but I will review the hotels shortly - see All-Inclusive Hotels in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca (Mallorca) As far as I know the only change is the Playa Mar.

Thanks for that you two.........................how does the Don Pedro in CSV being AI NOT surprise me !!!

The other hotel in CSV won't really affect PP and the one at the Alcudia end of PP is no problem as you'd expect it being that far out.

Let's just hope it is all rumour then !!

I do hope all inclusive does not come to pollensa as it will bring with it it's own problems not to mention the effect once again on bars restaurants and business. Let's keep it in magaluf!

From the relevant websites, for 2011, I see Thomas Cook do Club Pollentia on half board with the option to upgrade(??) to AI.

And Thomson have Playa Mar doing self catering with the option to jump up straight to AI, nothing mentioned on half board or full board.
