Default Its a Sunday thing - Part one!

The morning after the night before which ended up at Nostalgia and more Mojitos than I can remember, we struggled to get up out of necessity, knowing we had friends to meet at some point in the afternoon.

Breakfast time had come and gone, but delicate bodies demanded fresh air and something to eat.
Hubby managed to drive down from Llenaire and park close to I'lla D'or as our recouperating place of choice.

A table close by the sea softly lapping, dark sunglasses on and a shade overhead, children feeding the fish and a fabulous view began to ease the way back to life.
They do the most wonderful tuna toastie there, and with fresh orange and a cup of coffee ordered we waited for reality to kick back in.
... And waited. And waited. Orange juice turned up, coffee turned up. Both drunk. Still no toasties.
I know it was Sunday, I know it was lunch time, and I know they were very very busy. But I was really really dying! Hubby eventually stood up and walked towards the bar where the waiter acknowledged him and apologised for the wait. No problemo, said hubby. May not be for you honey, but I am now desperate for food! LOL! Anyway, an hour later - yes an hour - the toastie turned up, with olives and little onions and pepper etc on a stick. Just what the doctor ordered.
Magical properties obviously, as as soon as that reached the parts that were still suffering - I came gently back to life.

An absolutely wonderful spot at any time of day, for snacks, tea time, or a meal, but this Sunday it brought me back from oblivion, even though it left me there for quite a while!

Oh, and our afternoon meet was a very quiet water and coffee drinking one for us that day!
