Default Ancora Building

Anyone every stayed here....just found a nice apartment with roof terrace and views to die for!!
Although I have always stayed pinewalk end, I really do fancy the south sandy beach end next year. Have read one review of one of the other apts in the block saying it is quiet but the one I fancy is at the end of the block and therefore some rooms will face onto Calle de Bot....I know the Palms etc is on that street ...is it likely to be a bit noisy, I'm thinking bin men early morning and the sound of breaking glass etc. It's soooo quiet at Bellresguard but I just fancy trying the other end for a change! Maybe that is the price I will have to pay for they views....Oh! decisions decisions!!

Favie

We have stayed in that group of apartments, although along at the Romantic end. We were very happy there and didn't have any more problems with general noise in the early hours than we did when we have stayed in town. There can be some passing " noisies" on their way back to the Pollensa Park after a night in town but nothing excessive whilst we were there. ( Late Sept / early Oct if my memory serves)

Favs,
I have never stayed in Ancora but for many many years rented apartments in C/Bot, don't worry about Palms, all music stops at midnight. OK it won't be as quiet as Bellsreguard but you will wake up every morning and say hola to the puppy in the mountain . The beach is just across the road, which is much quieter now , i am sure you will love it down that end........i did honey and you know where i ended up living .

Thank you very much Tonsyl...that really does help.

Sparky thanks so much for reminding me about seeing the Puppy from there!!...I fell in love with him last year and the thought of raising the blinds in the morning to that view AND the beautiful Puppy has helped me make my decision!!

Going up to Bonnie Scotland this morning...so must get in touch with the renter before I go!! Thanks to you both again.

We have an Ancora apartment booked for 2011.
Our first roof terrace and uninterputed views of the bay...and the puppy!

Ahhh!! favie great choice. I am sure Deb's puppy will happily wag his tail for you every morning. Although i love the winters here i think he looks happier in the summer because he has soooo many PP fans looking at him.
Hope the flights are not too expensive .
