Default Advice/reviews for Ca'n Botana Villas Please

Hi

I am venturing out to majorca next year with 2 families and was looking at these villas in cala san vincente. they seem ideal as we can book 2 villas for 2 families and the children may make friends around the shared pool. Please has anyone stayed, I saw a review that said the villas and pool did not get sun - is this the case all day long? All reviews, good/bad appreciated and experiences of people who have stayed here welcome

Hi Jennypen

I have stayed in villa 3 and 5 several times over the years, the last time was 3 years ago. As a family we have lovely memories of these villas as they are great with small children.
Right so what can I tell you - the 4 bedroom villas have the fourth bedroom downstairs with a shower room next door - good for grannies, not good for small children. 3 bedroom villas tend to have single beds in all rooms with 1 room ensuite. There is also a small upstairs balcony. Large back terrace which is very shady and small front terrace. There are lots of steps around each villa and the complex on the whole. We stayed above the pool as it seemed a nicer aspect away from the dirt track/road. Pool area gets plenty of sun and was always beautifully kept by Miguel and Elena who were there every day but Sunday.
The one thing that I wouild say needs doing is some of them could do with updating and the seating area in the front room is VERY uncomfortable as it is rectangular thin cushions on concrete.
Beautiful quiet area, we only stopped going as teenagers wanted to go into PP or Alcudia every night so we decided to stay there instead of driving.
You can book some of the villas through an agent in CSV which we found was cheaper than going through UK travel companies. PM me if you need to know more
