Hi richie and welcome! I cannot find anything out about the childrens club on their site, but you can always email them and ask direct. Click on the linke below and it will take you to their website.

Default food at bahia pollensa

Hi - just wondering how you got on at the bahia pollensa - we are booked in for July this year and are concerned at the photos and reviews we have seen of the buffet food. We are on all inclusive and I have emailed the hotel 3 times asking about what the average daily menu is like but they have totally ignored all 3 emails (they were even written in spanish!) The photos I have seen on the hotel website show 2 small food sections, one hot with food that looks bob basic breaded and fried type foods with a couple of stews - no veg in sight and definantly no fresh local fish or joints of meat! the deserts mainly look like fruit and yoghurt/mousse-no cakes or anything like that... The reviews online all seem to say the breakfasts do not include yoghurts, fruit, cooked breakfast or cereals and are just pastrys cheap cold meats and grapefruit??! can you shed some light on just how basic the menu was when you visted and if there is any quality meals to be had at all on the buffet - it would be much appreciated-thanks!

With all of the great restaurants in Puerto Pollensa all inclusive is probably not the best option

If you are concerned about the quality of food, could you perhaps ask the hotel to alter your booking to B&B which would give you the opportunity to try lots of different places each evening ?

I am not sure how much of a premmium the hotel adds for all inclusive as an addition to B&B but I do remember once about 10 years ago when we stayed in a hotel in tenerife and the all inclusive premium was about £300 extra each per week so we decided it would be better to go with the B&B option and were very please that we did

We stayed at the Bahia in 2005. I only have good memories of the holiday. So much so we have been back to PP every year since. Sorry I cant help with the food part, but we had no complaints about the hotel.

Yeh I've checked out the website photos and reviews really carefully and it appears that many of those photos are of food from the A-La-Carte menu which is NOT included in the all-inclusive buffet! AND apparently you have to PAY EXTRA for eggs and bacon for breakfast and even though its all inclusive you are only allowed 2 drinks at each mealtime and 1 pint of beer counts as 2 drinks???!!! - the reviews state the breakfast is just continental and dinners are mostly fried/coated meats and stews . . not looking good at all - the photos on hotel website show all the furniture as old and faded (apart from premium apartments which cost extra) - even the reception (if you look close) has old faded chairs and curtains and the restaurant tables/chairs look like a greasy-spoon diner affair!!
I will be making an official complaint to Thomas Cook if it turns out my mother-in-law has been sold a lemon - she's the one who booked and paid based on the reps assurance the food was on a par with our hotel last year!! I'm pretty sure she's been taken advantage of on this booking . . .
