Default apartment on Pescador opposite Pinewalk

We have booked a luxury apartment on Pescador which we understand is on the Pinewalk - what is this area like - quiet? Rowdy? Are there plenty of nice cafes/restaurants along there and what is the beach like near the Pinewalk other than narrow?

Default Pine Walk area

I think the pine walk area is the best part of puerto pollensa. In the evenings there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to sit outside or in and there are no loud bars or clubs near there. You are going to be about 10 metres away from the sea which is really relaxing and pretty. I like the pine walk area of the beach although it is narrow - but it is not far to walk to the other beach which is quite large with plenty of activities, watersports etc. Also you see the sea plane on a daily basis but you have to watch you don't get in his way when in the sea!! We are going to pollensa three months today and we are staying just behind pine walk & can't wait.

Hope you enjoy your hols!!!

I agree with Sue. We love the Pine Walk area of PP, and always stay this side of town. We prefer the Pine Walk beach to the main beach as the pines lining it offer some shade when you need it. It's away from the main road so there's no traffic noise. The beach is gently shelving, the water warm and generally quite still. There are lots of little boats moored, and it is very relaxing to lie and listen to the water lapping against them - and then the scooter man comes along with his delicious ice-creams.....I wish I were there <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> NOW!!!!!<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
I'm sure you'll have a great holiday!

you could never associate the words rowdy and pollensa in any way. this is the most laid back resort on the island.
The area of the pine walk where you are staying is fabulous and I agree with the last reply,I prefer the beaches on the walk. Pollensa is never visited once.....you'll go back time and again.
