Hi,

first re weather I'm afraid it's anyone's guess this year - see pub66.ezboard.com/fpollensaforumfrm23.showMessage?topicID=36.topic

If you're staying in the Puerto Azul you are about 5 mins walk from Pine Walk & the beach there - see the map www.puertopollensa.com/MapPine.html & in fact you are in a lovely location. We did stay in the Puerto Azul 3 times in a row & found that it was a compromise - the location is great, the kids loved it (Thomson entertainment etc.), the accommodation was very practical for families & we got very sick of the 'international food' - basically the food was OK, nothing special & very little Mallorquin or even Spanish dishes - it may well have changed.

You do get a fridge in your room (small charge) so you can prepare your own lunches & you can always miss the evening meal & try out one of the restaurants for a change.

So do enjoy your holiday, I hope the weather is good & if you get sick of the food - eat out ever so often!
