Default Teenagers

I am hoping to come to Pollensa early next July with my partner and my two teenagers, each with a friend. We are looking for somewhere with three bedrooms, air conditioning and a pool within striking distance of the nightlife in high heels (we are not interested in providing a taxi service). I have chosen Puerto Pollensa carefully because it seems to provide some excitement for 15 - 18 year olds but not too much for my peace of mind. I hope I'm right!

There are a few choices within our budget, of which the cheapest is an apartment called Paqui. Can anybody give me an opinion? I get the impression it might be a bit out of the way.

As it would need a hired people carrier or two taxis to transport us, I am also keen to find out about the practicalities of getting to the resort by public transport.

Many thanks

Don't know if Pollensa is altogether suitable for teenagers. My eldest will be 16 when we go next year and is happy enough to come with us because he knows the place from being there so many times. However, ther is really very little entertainment for teenagers. We have found that the resort has mostly a young family and elderly couple clientele, However, they can play football at the public sports centre during the day I guess. Please just check that this is altogether suitable for you before you arrive. You don't want 4 moaning teenagers around you for a fortnight!!!

I think if you want night life for teenagers you would be better going to Alcudia, which is the next bay along from Pollenca, I assume you mean the port when you talk about Pollenca, and not the old town.
There are lots of bars and restaurants in Pollenca, and Port of Pollenca but it is not a night hot spot, I think you must think again.
You and your partner will love it, but not sure about the teenagers.:rolleyes
