Default old town?

I am staying at the Flora Appts 2 weeks today yippee!! And have been looking at all the restaurant recommendations, but I am a bit confused about where we are staying. Are the Flora in the old town? I have been trying to find a full size map of the area, with no luck (i've probably not looked hard enough!) And would we be in walking distance of most of these wonderful eateries - especially Balaxia? Many thanks.

Hi lizzylee,

The Flora Apts are in what we've called the Pine Walk area so not in the old town at all! You will be in walking distance of all the restaurants in Pto Pollensa apart from the Balaixa which is down a country lane off the road to Pollensa - so you'll need to drive or take a taxi there.

Look at our Maps page www.puertopollensa.com/Maps.html & click on the icon for Pine Walk map. Having a look on it I can see that we've omitted to highlight the Flora (sorry!). You can just about see it marked in the block next Apt Massol (on Mendez Nunez). There is also a full map of the resort to download.

your staying in a lovely area just by the pine walk where there are lots of very good restaurants,we found the staff and the food at the bar coral were excellent, but if you feel like a stroll down towards the pollensa park hotel you will find a restaurant behind the panorama hotel and apartments in a quiet street its called THE SPARROW. we found this was the best restaurant we visited in p/pollensa ,the best time to go is around 7.00pm our phone and book a table, you will find the prices here to be very reasonable.
lol and family.
