There is a water park in Alcudia which is pretty good but if you want to go to a bigger one there is one in Palma Nova I think which is called Aqua City. You can organise day trips to Aqua City form the Hobby Club but be warned Aqua City is very big and if you have little kids it may not be a good idea. It has a lot of slides but the queues are sometimes very long but it is a really good water park. As for restaurants there are good ones in the square and in the little side streets around the square but there are also some good ones up beside Pollensa Park and around that area. Hope this helps.

Default Banks in Pollensa

Can anyone please tell me which banks can be found in Pollensa. And do they accept Switch debit cards. I know you can use it where banks accept Maestro/Cirrus. I am just thinking of bringing it along with the Euro exchange rate being as low as it is.

Default banks in Pollenca

There are many banks in the Port, but I don't think I've ever seen a British High Street Bank anywhere but in Palma.
All the local banks have ATM machines outside and as long as you know your PIN number you can use them to draw funds from your home bank account. Also you can draw funds from your Credit card, but again you need to know your PIN
As long as your Debit Card is a VISA (except Electron, I think), again you should be able to use this in shops and restaurants.

Default Hobby club

Building work still in progress - only creates some dust if windy and generator noise sometimes during the day - no apartments face the building work. so it isnt a problem

Apartments clean and pleasant, facilities fine, clientele exclusively British ( not necessarily an asset) and some seemed to moan excessively - why no toasters, a long walk to town...??

PP is fantastic, unspoilt and - not Blackpool (Alcudia) - long may it remain so! - looking forward to our 7th visit next year
