Default Duva apartments

Hi

We are travelling out to the Duva apartments the middle of August and i was wondering if there was anyone else been to this property peak season.
We have been to Alcudia several times but have had to fight for the sunbeds and had to get up at the crack of dawn to get a decent pollside position.
Am i going to experience the same at the Duva?
and whats the genral opinion of this property?

Many thanks
Dave

I can now answer my own questions for future reference.

No you cant get a lounger by the pool unless your up at 7 in the morning!!!
The apartments are miles from the beach.
The drinks are to expensive.
The staff are miserable.
The pool is to deep for kids.
This place could bore the hell out of you, thank god for taxis to Alcudia.
Wont be going back to pollensa ever again, to expensive,to much hype, you need to be over 50 to enjoy the place unless you've aged before your time!!
Also you need to be loaded to afford the great euro rip off.>: >: :evil
I would rather suck on a lemon!!!

Well obviously each to their own, but my wife and I (and two teenage children) had a wonderful time in Puerto Pollensa last October.
We too stayed at the Duva, found the staff very helpful and friendly, and the apartments lovely. Admittedly it was October but never once did we have problems getting sun loungers.
We'll be back next year, although we have decided to move a little closer to town (but to be honest the walk wasn't that much of a drag).
Clearly some people have different expectations, proven by my lasting impression that PP was paradise and Alcudia was Blackpool !!!

Alcudia like Blackpool you say?
Excellent! im going to look on Blackpool.com to see when i can go there!
Ive been travelling to Mallorca all these years and could have been going to Blackpool instead.
I could of saved a packet.
But i still want my sunlounger in Blackpool though!:lol :lol
