Default Rachael - re: Flora Apartments

Hi Rachael
I note that you always stay in the Flora apartments. We are going to these apartments for the first time. I wondered if you could give me an idea as to which apartments would be best. i.e. first floor facing pool or what. I am thinking of contacting the Flora to request a pool facing room on the first floor, but note from a review somewhere that a room next to the kids pool is noisy. Any suggestions greatly appreciate.

Hi Summersun,

I hope you don't mind me responding to your post. I have stayed at the Flora 3 times most recently earlier this month.

We had an apartment that was first floor facing the pool and the noise was very minimal, but obviously it wasn't as busy as it will be in high season. Previously we have stayed in ground floor apartments at the pool side and again no problems.

The only real noise came from the entertainment on an evening, but that depends if you are a night owl or not!!!

Hope this helps.

Suemo x.

Hi Summer Sun,

We have stayed in many of the different apartments over the years to be honest I would agree with Suemo. We have stayed a couple of times in apartments directly facing the pool and generally the only time its overly noisy is in the evening when the entertainment is running but its normally wrapped up for 11-11.30 ish.

Should you contact them they will always do their best to accommodate you.

When is it you go?

Hope this helps...

Rachel

I am not staying at the flora but at an apartment just round the corner. I was wondering if anyone can use the flora if they are not staying there. It would be mostly on an evening for a quick nightcap before we go back to our wine on the balcony.

You won't have a problem, i have had drinks there and many other hotels/ apartment complexes. They are grateful for all the business they can get, especially this year.

Default Flora Apartments

Hi Rachael

We are going to the Flora apartments the first two weeks in July. I have contacted the Flora requesting first floor rooms for my family and Sonia was extremely prompt with her response stating that they will try and accommodate our request.
