Default La Singala

Just booked the first week in September for La Singala, and I'm heartened by the comments about its high standards. However, my tour operator says there is some building work nearby. Does anyone know if it is very noisy and when it starts/stops during the day?
Looking forward to renewing our acquaintance with the Pine Walk, Bony's for a midnight Cardhu and all our favourite restaurants!

There was some building work going on when we were there in May just along from Singala opposite Bar Bonanca. A three storey block of flats where an old house used to be. Nothing too serious though, and the worst of the work seemed to be completed. Can't quite remember if anything was happening the other side of the Formentor Road. Sorry.

Thanks for that. Travel agent suggests work won't be too noisy - but he's not staying there that week! Can't wait though. Pollensa on holiday is like going to stay with an old friend.

Bill, Last year we recieved the same warning last year for our stay at Sis Pins ( the same company) and what we got was two guys working on a house across the street, I use the word "working" it was more like siesta, spurt of work& siesta :rollin .
I wouldn't worry.

I can't believe it's four years since I posted that question! Singala was great tho the room was a little small and we prefer self-catering. This year we wandered past it and were amazed to see the work had been completed and a whole new gleaming white complex stood there. Been back from PP over a month and miss it more each day

My Daughters had thought of booking to the hotel. Is the pool really as tiny as it looks from the road and on the website?.

It's certainly not Olympic sized, Rob, but enough for a plooter up and down!
