Default December Hotels

Hi folks,
Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks holiday in August - we left on the Saturday when the storms broke!
We are returning in December to see what PP is like in the winter months and are planning to stay for three nights.
I've just checked the Daina for availability and along with its other partner hotels it appears there is nothing in December. Is this because they are closed?!
If so can anyone recommend somewhere to stay....
Hope you can help.

To save anyone trying to find out - just discovered hotels in PP are closed in December.
There are several in old town Pollensa which are open.
Does anyone know if there are any apartments in the Pine Walk area which are rented out just for weekends inDecember?

Go into site - villas/apts to rent type in dates and try your luck, phone or email owner away you go no problem. Some say week let but sure they will do a deal. Most are only £250 week in December anyway thats only £83 night for three nights at full price.

the mar calma on the formentor road is usually open in December. it is a small, basic hotel but is clean, and very cheap. I know it was closed last year because they were refurbishing it, but have had family stay there over new years before in the past.

Hostel Corro is open in December. I wouldn't really recommend it tho. Stayed there once myself in Dec and although clean was very basic, cold (until the heating cameon after 6) and the water was cold too. Staff were lovely tho.

Thanks for that Snowy.
Have e-mailed a couple of people with properties on the Pine Walk so will await their reply.
Even if we have to pay for a week it'll still work out about the same for three nights in one of Pollensa's hotels which look to have availability.
I know that places like El Pozo are open in PP throughout the winter - does anyone know what restaurants remain open...

Default December Hotels

More than enough restaurants open in winter, El posito, Pascalino, Bona Cep, etc, etc. possible some may close in Dec. but be assured you won't go hungry!

Cheers Smiddy.
Looking forward to trying the winter cuisine!
Might possibly now be staying in old town but either way we shall be dining in PP at some stage.
Thanks again.
