Default air conditioned apartments

I am coming to PP in august. The apartment I was hoping to book doesn't have air con. However it is at the foot of the hills and aparently enjoys cool breezes!! ( sales talk)

Is Air con a must in august.

Hi

I wouldn't say air con is a MUST at any time of the year.......just a very nice added bonus if you are fortunate enough to have it. Most apartments have fans which are usually more than adequate but if you feel you need something more you could always hire a unit or more fans from the Multi Hire Shop on Mendez Nunez for the duration of your stay.

Hope this helps.

Might have to disagree with you there! August in my experience calls out for a/c virtually everwhere, even if you have to get portable units to use. There is a small shop opposite Habitat appartments that rents out portables, best day to get them is Sunday we have found. Saying that, we have an appartment in LLenaire which we have put in a/c and heating, but find it does get a cool breeze down from the hills if you leave the front and back windows open. So you may be lucky!
