It's actually the Velentin Puerto Azul & most people will know it as the Puerto Azul as Valentin is the name of the hotel chain.

We stayed there for 3 years in a row several years ago with 2 small boys. From that point of view it was ideal as we stayed in a lovely area, near the Pine Walk, & kids loved the entertainment. The accommodation was very good as each room has bedroom plus living area with sofa beds & fridge (as it was an aparthotel) but is run as full board. The food got very boring after a while but it was easy with the kids & buffet style. We escaped after 3 years but it was a great family hotel.

We too have two young children and have stayed at the Puerto Azul for the last 4 years - personally I cannot fault anything about the hotel and whilst i agree about the food it has definately improved over the last couple of years. If you are thinking of staying here it is worth looking at Portland Holidays as they are cheaper than Thomson
