Default Anita Apartment

Has anyone stayed in the 1 bedroom top floor Anita apartment rented by Open Holidays (Marfran) and if so do they recommend it.

I haven't stayed in the Anita apartment specifically, but have stayed in a couple of Marfran/Open Holiday apartments on the Pine Walk (they're all more or less next door to each other). Spot on location, second to none as usual, although I did find the apartments a tad basic, in that they were'nt too comfortable, and limited furniture, eg no telly, no music. That's not to say I wouldn't recommend them. We had a few fantastic holidays in the Marfran apartments, enough to eventually buy our own place.

We stayed in the second floor apartment in the block last July, two bedroom apartment. Fantastic position, wonderful views and good fun in the evening watching folk stroll by below, and good beach bit outside, can do the early morning bit and bag pole position on the sunbeds... also I found if I had forgotten anything we were so close by that a mobile callto son who would still be in bed and it would appear with him eventually....
Furniture was basic and the apartment seemed a bit 'tired', presumablyowners didn't have to both with the position it had, ants in the kitchen, it also got very hot, we had some fans and rented another when one went on the blink, air conditioning would be good.
It was abitnoisy from the little road behind late at night so we had to keep windows closed.
Very handy for everywhere. Have fun!

We stayed in the fourth floor three bedroom apartment in Sept. '05.
We thought it was a good accommodation and clean (no ants).
No TV - but who needs it when you've got such a fantastic view ? Great to sit on the balcony in the evening sipping your Sangria just watching the world go by.
Didn't notice much noise from the back of the building apart from the bins being emptied early morning - but we can cope with that !

We did sneak a peek at the top floor penthouse and though it is OK and has amazing views, we thought it might be too hot as there is absolutely no shade on the large rooftop terrace and the second bedroom is on a mezzanine floor up a spiral staircase above the kitchen area.

Well placed for all amenities although parking nearby could be a bit tricky, especially on market day.
