Cool Oro Playa Apartments

Going back to Puerto Pollensa this year. Stayed in Duva last summer. Lovely place but bit of a trek everyday. Was thinking of Oro Playa Apartments. Anyone any view on this? Open to suggestions. Looking for something suitable for families.

If you are bothered about the trek everyday, the Oro Playa would still be about the same walk into the centre as from Duva only from the other direction.

But much nearer the beach and a nicer stroll into town down Pine Walk

oro playa is a much better location, but last year they opened very late and closed early (june to sept?) and they looked very run down. I would not want to stay on the edge of the season and unless they have had a refurb, i wouldn't recomend - Maybe someone who has been more recently can comment?

Very close to the Oro Playa are the Flora apps, similar price range but in seem much more cared for and appear to be open more of the year

We were thinking of staying at the Oro playa but decided not to after reading some bad reports about how clean it is. Some of the reports are on tripadvisor. We are still trying to decide where to stay at the moment. I think I have managed to do the trip advisor link here.

Great, friendly staff, even although 2 star when i stayed - Apartments Oro Playa, Port de Pollenca Traveller Reviews - TripAdvisor

Debz, agreed much nicer walk fron Oro. We have stayed in both Oro & Duva albeit a good few years ago so dont know what state Oro is in now. Found Duva good if you had any poor weather as they had the heated indoor pool (even if you had to wear the silly swimming caps), & gym.
