Default Staying in La Font

Can anyone let me know what La Font area is like as we're booked a villa in this August. Anything on restaurants/bars/shops would be helpful.

Have stayed in La Font area a few times in the past. Lovely peaceful area with fantastic mountain views - my favourite! Most restaurants are a drive away, Balaixa is one of the closest I would think, but most of La font area is midway between Cala s vincente, Puerto pollensa and Pollensa itself. Really good positioning, but must have a car, a map, and armed with restaurant names!! Good choice 8)

Yes I will echo Bellas comments on La Font. It is one of our favourite places for countryside villas as its so peaceful and pretty with the mountains surrounding you while you're relaxing in the pool . La Font is not a huge residential area at all although we still couldn't find the villa that we've booked for our August holiday when we went over in March. Its called the Joanna Rosa through Villa Plus.

Car is essential BUT you could walk to my fave place Balaixa and to C'an Pacienci on the other side of the road. You've got SYP there too on that road thats a good little supermarket that does yummy pastries all warm and delish for brekkie! Mmmmmm the thought. 4 weeks Sat (I think?)
