Default Villa Ca Na Frareta

The villa is in a lovely (but quite rural) position between Pollensa, PP and Alcudia so it's handy for all three places. A car is an absolute must. It's easily a 20 minute drive into PP.

It's a three-bedroomed villa with a small pool (more like a plunge pool than a swimming pool) which is elevated and accessed by a short flight of stone steps.

I wouldn't recommend this villa for those who have very small children or the elderly, as the stairs in the villa are open and a young child could easily fall from the top to the stone floor below.

The main bedroom is a double and is big and spacious with large wardrobes. The two twins are connected so this might suit a family rather than three couples holidaying together.

There's a bathroom upstairs and a small shower room downstairs, next to the main living area.

The villa is well equipped with a washing machine, fridge freezer, huge dishwasher and oven.

As a nice touch, there are shelves of books to read, videos and a television/video player.

Terraces surround the villa on all sides and there's a built-in BBQ. There's also a lovely upstairs balcony with great views over to the bay of Pollensa and the mountains.

Our gripes were the lack of cleaning - nobody came to clean at all while we were there and I ended up sweeping and mopping the floors one day by myself. Not really my favourite thing to do on holiday!

We also had to ask for an iron and ironing board - the travel iron provided was completely inadequate and with two children I needed to wash and iron fairly frequently:rolleyes .

If you're looking for peace and quiet and like animals (dog, two horses) which we do, then it's great.
