Apts for 2 nights.

Going to PP in Aug, and looking for an apt for 2 nights, 9th&10th Aug (to go with the 8 we have already booked). Sofar found Duva & Flora do the odd night. Can anyone recomend either of these 2 apts, or maybe suggest another?
Thanks in advance.
Jiggy

Hi Jiggy
We use Duva for short breaks like this, they have a mimimuim of two night stays, very nice people, nice location, slightly more noise there since they went all inclusive, we left in late last year to book up the last two days of our holiday after we moved out of the villa and found not much avaiable, so I would always recomend booking something up before you go.

Apts. for 2 nights

Hello Jiggy,

We are looking for one night somewhere (flight home not until Sun.) I have noticed Daina Apts and also Pollensamar available for odd nights.
Our first visit we stayed in Pollensamar and found it spacious and very well positioned -just behind the Pinewalk and near I'lla d'or Hotel and some with beautiful views through the buildings in front.:)

Thanks for all the suggestions, I like the look at that Apt 1 Snowy, and the Pollensamar looks good too Favie, and both have great locations! The kids said they'd love to stay by the pine walk!

:) Your welcome Jiggy - glad to be of use!!!
:)Thanks Snowy - the hotel does look fine but think we will try the Uyal for our last night because we never seem to venture up that part of the Bay. Hopefully either relax on the beach/balcony then meal at the Galeon hotel - I believe that is quite nice for a meal. Just want a chilled out last day before its all back to the grindstone!!! Probably spend the day day thinking " I prefer it down the Pinewalk end" !!??

Favie, nothing wrong with the Galeon end! We have our appartment a few roads back from the Galeon. Restaurant is good, also is frequented by the professional bikers (not leathers!). Has never been rowdy to my knowledge but has always had a good atmosphere. LLenair restaurant on the other corner is great for outside lunch if the weather is good. Off ourselves next week but will be a working week (yeah, right! Not if the weather is good!), painting and cleaning. ;)

Hi Belladonna,

I am really looking forward to trying that end of the Bay - it looks beautiful - where in PP isn't!! I have always meant to walk from one end to the other but I am ashamed to say I never have, so I am making sure this time that I will see it!! Lots of beautiful apartments that end that I quite fancy too. Hope you have a good time next week - painting or sunbathing !!??:)

apts for 2 nights

Snowy

You posted a link for jiggggy which relates to an apartment close to Pine Walk and which is advertised on this site - do you have any personal knowledge of this apartment at all as I have just booked it for our holiday this year? The site details tell me it is in a small block very close to Pine Walk but not exactly where and I wondered if you knew any more

Regards

Easylife

Well, i booked the Pollensamar, for our last 2 nights, £100 per night, but it does look good (25 metres from the beach!!), ive havnt stayed on the pine walk before! and as we are staying in Gommar for the 1st 8 days it will be a complete change of scenery.

Jiggy!

Great news, so pleased for you. Staying at this end will give you a different perspective of the Port. You will not be disappointed.

OK!

That's the easy bit out of the way, all the accomodation fixed up.

Now to pick all the eateries!!:D

Whose wisdom do you take?

Peru?
Snowy? The "Reds" man?
Bella D?
Jane?
Debs?
Porto?

All got different tastes and all will be "badgering" you!:(

Maybe best ask webmaster for guidance??:D

Nah!

Do your own thing!!

PS And apologies to all other mates of Jiggy's!

Hi Jiggy,

Glad to hear you are all sorted - is it August you are going!!!!!????:p I am sure you will love that end of the Port too. You must try Corals while you are so near it - their lamb shanks are delicious, along with many other great choices. Probably be the first place we will go after a long day travelling.:)Looking forward to all your posts on your return!! -The first "Badger"!!:)
