Default Hotel Uyal

Has anyone stayed here? How far a walk into town? Is it clean/ comfortable? What are the Terrace rooms like? Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Lala :rolleyes

Thanks Jane - very helpful. I'm looking for this break in September to be a special holiday as it's to be a surprise for hubby's 40th so your comment "ok for a few days" makes me think it's not what I am looking for and hubby might be disappointed by location/ standard.

Back to the drawing board...:rolleyes

Hi Lala,

I know the Uyal has its share of fans on this forum and I did wonder whether a room in the main building would be different, as we were based in the annexe.

If I'm totally honest, I think a hotel for a special celebratory birthday should be something out of the ordinary (hint, hint! I'm 40 next year!!!) and while the Uyal is perfectly good in a lot of respects, I think there are others in PP that are just a little better in terms of location. The road noise was one of the things that put me off when we visited in May 2005.

Just my humble opinion (and hubby...if you're reading this, La Moraleja in CSV would be my choice!!!!)
