Default boutique hotel or apartment in puerto pollensa

I have left it very late but myself and hubbie are looking for a nice hotel block or apartments in puerto pollensa. We would like somewhere with charachter but also a little comtempary aswell without blowing the bank account as we are intending to go for 5 days.

If the apartments as clean and well kept that is fine but would like somwhere small rather than a big hotel complex.

I am really struggling has anyone any ideas????

Apart from the obvious - looking on www.puertopollensa.com for a private rental I am not sure of any boutique type hotels/ accommodation in Puerto Pollensa.

Pollensa does have some. I have stayed in Son Sant Jordi which was excellent. It is about 5 mins walk from the main square in Pollensa. I have also stayed in a small hotel right on the square in Pollensa - Ca'l Lloro which was also very good. Desbrull just off the square in Pollensa also looks very nice. All of these hotels are much cheaper than you would pay for a similar hotel in the UK.

As mentioned there are several boutique hotels in Pollensa town - see www.puertopollensa.com/hotels_apartments_pollensa.html#PolHotels There are also some smaller independant hotels in the Port - see www.puertopollensa.com/hotels.html#featuredpto There are in fact very few large hitels in the area apart from maybe the Pollensa Park.

We would highly recomend the Hotel Miramar on the Paseo, and Hostel Bahia on the Pine Walk. Both have beautiful views of the Bay and a certain elegance, where as the Hotel Daina is more "Chrome and Glass"
Hpoe this helps.

Daillna is fine ive spent many happy hours there with a lunchtime drink/food, but its quality seaside hotel with city/contempory feel to it.
Thats fine of course and being part of a stylish chain it delivers, but its not what I would call boutique.
Sharon is right, all the smaller hotels in Pollenca town come more into the catagory, add Juma and its sister L,hostal
to that list all for around 100 euros per night, better value than UK.

These are exactly the type of hotels that we were looking for but ideally close to a beach.

Many thanks anyway
