Default Flora Apartments

Just booked flora apartments -2 weeks end of july 2008 with Winter susnhine holidays and flights with Jet 2 - £1500. First choice wanted £2300 - cheeky mares!
Has anyone been to these apartments recently? All the reviews I can find seem ok apart from a few saying they got moved to the Massol apartments. That is my only concern.
Thanks

Its been a while since we used the Flora - basically the kids outgrew it.

From recollection there have been a couple of recent threads regarding this aparthotel. I don't recall anything too problematic.

Default Flora Apartments

We have been going to the Flora for many years. The apartments are nearly all one bedroom with twin beds (comfortable) plush two sofa beds in living area. The kitchen area has a small oven, hob and fridge but no washing machine.

There is a balcony with table and chairs.

The flats are cleaned daily and the whole complex is kept nice and clean.

There is a sun terrace with sunbeds - which I believe go quickly in the summer! The complex is less than 5 mins from the sea.

The staff on reception are extremely helpful and the bar staff are efficient and friendly. They have an inexpensive snack menu for lunchtime but have upgraded their restaurant for evenings. They had a great chef Massimo working there this summer.

Whilst there are other complexes with larger pools and more entertainment I would not hesitate to recommend the Flora for a good holiday.

Hope this helps

Marilyn

stayed here for 4 nights last week - can't fault it. Very basic but it is a 3 star hotel so wasn't expecting the ritz. Pool is lovely, and it's literally a two minute walk from the seafront and Pine Walk when you come ut of main reception. A cafe and a Spa are located directly opposite the hotel which is convenient and a chemist just round the corner which we used a few times lol

Reception v helpful, apartments were basic but just what we needed, plus they were overlooking the pool which was a bonus. We also asked for 3 adjacent rooms, and we got them, so were very pleased with that. The ground of the hotel are very picturesque as well.

All in all, worthwhile staying here!!!

After spending one night at the Flora Apartments, and hearing an endless loop of "It's a Small World After All," I believe that song, played over and over again, could be a very effective interrogation technique for intelligence services to utilize in questioning the most reticent of terrorist suspects.

Does that songcome from the Flora or the Mickey Mouse toy car outside of the supermarket opposite which is activated when people walk by?

From memory I think Marilyn is correct in that it does come from the toy car rather than the apartments themselves.

We have just returned from first visit to PP and loved it.

I got chatting to a family who were staying at the Flora. They were very happy with it, and it is in a great location. You are close to the beach, square and Pine Walk. They did feel the apt was on the small side, but was clean, quiet and had air con ( a bonus as was 36 degrees some days!!)

You will have a fab time, the best resort I have been to in years.

Hi Ruthie Scandal

Thank you for making my day! We are off to the Flora next week and although I have stayed there before a few years ago, I have been a little apprehensive. I'm already aware that the apartments are small but they meet our needs in every other way including price, location and catering for my children. I'm delighted to hear that air con is now available. I've emailed the apartments a few times recently and Pedro has been very prompt in responding and more than helpful.

Thanks again. LK
