Hotels open during Winter 2016/2017
Just arrived back home today after 2 wonderful weeks in PP, and after being at home for about 4 hours, we are already suffering post Pollensa blues and trying to work out when we will be back!
One thing we would like to do that we've never done before is visit PP during the Winter. We're looking at maybe visiting in February 2017 as easyjet have flings from Luton. However, we are struggling to find which hotels are open at that time of year? Sis Pins is showing availability, but that's about it. I was thinking that Daina and Miramar would both be open, but neither are showing availability and I don't know if that's because they are closed, or just that they are not taking bookings that far ahead at the moment.
Does anybody know which hotels tend to open during the Winter?

Have you considered a villa or apartment? A lot of the local restaurants are open all year or were when we had a 6 week winter break in PP. It was some time ago now, but we had àn unforgettable time. Just love the place even in winter.

Daina and Miramar don't usually open until March/April.

Thanks to everybody for the replies.
We have thought about an apartment, but we are only looking at a short trip, probably only 4 or 5 nights, so would like to indulge in a hotel for a change.
Looks like we are leaning towards Sis Pins, based on what everybody has said.
Mark, thanks for the great photos - we absolutely love PP and the buzz the whole place has during the summer months, but after 10 visits over a 14 year period, we suddenly came up with the idea of visiting during quieter months, just to see what it's like. I love your photo of the airport - can't wait to see it like that!

We are breaking with tradition and coming out in November. Booked a very reasonably priced room at Cal Lloro in the Old Town. We've never properly explored Pollensa but will still be able drive over to visit favourite places in the port. Will let you know how we get on, but I'm really looking forward to coming out of season.

Thank you to everybody for your replies.
We have just booked for 4 nights at Sis Pins at the start of February!
Very excited as it will be the first time we've ever been to the island out of season - we're already planning our various day trips.

That's something to look forward to after Christmas, I am slightly jealous
A quiet airport to look forward to when you arrive.
