The Mar Senses Hotel not only looks beautiful it has also been very tastefully decorated inside. The garden areas have been planted nicely too.
There are plenty of new, comfortable sun loungers by the pool. Staff there are very friendly too!
A real asset to the port IMHO.

I have not seen it myself but going by the photos and comments posted on FB it seems that a lot of people are very happy with the transformation .

In that case, and in my humble opinion, I would try and book a room on the left hand side ( looking from the sea ) overlooking the road and not the pool.

This would mean you would get afternoon and evening sun, and probably quieter as well.

I would like to have a look round when we are out next month with a view to possibly staying there some time, are they happy for people to do that? Don't mind having a drink in the bar whilst we are there if it is open to non-residents!

No problem having a look round, just walk in like you own the place. Be prepared to run though when they see you with a sun bed under each arm.
