I have been told that it is still a "work in progress" situation .

Pretty much work in progress still, but August is a long time away, this was posted on FB

For those who want to know how Mar Sense is coming along some picture from today, the back of the hotel looks good with the new balconies etc but the front, a building site with big crane in centre of complex

I'm really quite excited about this project. There are some stunning computer-generated images on their website.

Just Google "Family holidays Aparthotel Mar Senses Puerto de Pollensa in Majorca".

In all honesty, I am somewhat jealous of what the new owners are doing, as I always said that if I had enough funds I would have done exactly the same - The location is great.

My only concern is the noise that is generated by the adjacent Puerto Azul - It is a bit of a row of an evening with loud music and entertainment. (Despite that, I have been known to answer the odd one of the over-amplified questions posed on quiz night, whilst parking between the two hotels.)

Can anyone confirm that Mar Senses will be adults only - as suggested on it's website?

After talking to a friend of mine who works in head office, I can confirm that the scheduled opening day is set for the 29th of April and that it will be adults only.

Hope this helps.

That´s exactly what I thought when she told me the date. BUT, I have seen similar situations where, miracously or not, guests were arriving by the front door whilst the builders were going out of the rear one.

We shall see said the blind man.
