I think you are talking about La Goleta, there is a thread about it on here but have not got any news on how it's going, perhaps Can Balache would know as they are across the way from it ;) :-

Blimey that looks tall, i thought buildings could only be 4 floors max. Hope it's legal :eek:.

Gommar Goffer 09-02-2015 12:59

That's what I thought Sparky - it is in effect 8 stories high - the highest in the centre of the port from what I could see!

Sparky 09-02-2015 13:15

GG that makes it the same as the Pollensa Park.

It probably hasn't got permission like the poly park they will probably just pay the fine each year. They will have figured it in to the final build cost
It's a funny old place we all love to call home isn't it lol

varsp 09-02-2015 18:40

Or maybe they will make them demolish the floors over the permitted four storey's ?

Canbalache 09-02-2015 19:21

It's a hive of activity from 7.30 am 5 1/2 days a week, due to open this summer. Ref the height it is no taller than the block two doors away which houses the "gurkha" clothes shop

CathB 09-02-2015 21:10

Looking at previous photos it was previously 4 floors of rooms but there was almost another floor on top of that

Canbalache, is the new La Goleta blocking sunlight, making your street any darker ?
