holiday prices

hi we have just had a qoute for £1600 for a week in october for 2 adults and one child aged 12 , half board , is it me or is that a bit expensive

That would depend on which hotel or aparthotel you are thinking of booking.

There is a great variety in Puerto Pollensa and surrounding area.
If this price includes flights and transfers it would not be too bad for a top quality hotel. Perhaps it also includes activities for teenagers too?

It can often be more cost effective to book an apartment on a site such as this and book the flights yourself and then travel up using Resorthoppa or one of the reliable transfer companies.

There's a handy map of showing hotels and bars and restaurants on this site. It's worth familiarising yourself with the maps so you can find out if your hotel or apartment is centrally based or not. Whilst the local bus system is very good, additional taxi fares can really bump up the cost of your holiday if you end up a bit out of the way. Hope that this helps!

£600 for an apartment. As they've got a 12 year old with them we can assume they'll be travelling at weekends during the October half term so that will be another £200 per head. Add transfers and meals and the price they've been quoted doesn't seem that extravagant.
