Default Pool use at Hotels ?

Hi all bit of a strange one this I suppose. We've found a lovely house for rent in the port. Trouble is no pool. I'm more than happy with the beach every day but having my wife and children wanting a laze around a pool now and again could prove a problem. Does anybody know whether there are any pools you can use by paying in daily or weekly ? Probably only get used now and again but i need the option if I want a quiet life.

Cheers

Laguna allow use of pool as long as you spend some money at the bar/restaurant.

Flora hotel allow use of their pool, providing you buy drinks there.
There is also a public pool.

I was going to ask this question myself, staying at a private apartment near Sis Pins, hubby will be off cycling some days and I feel a bit self conscious on the beach on my own. Given me some ideas of where to chill out on my own!!

Hello All
We've used the Laguna Pool and Bonanca before it for the last 10 years. Great for the family, you can grab lunch or if going in the afternoon dinner after a few hours in the pool.
I did read that the Playa Mar were offering "day passes" this year - but that might be only for local residents - maybe someone could check and confirm? It is a nice family friendly place with a couple of water slides added a few years back. Again, nice for a snack at lunch time.

Don't be put off going to the beach on your own there are a lot of people there that don't have husbands wives etc with them me included !
My husband does nt like sunbathing so he sets up my spot with sun bed brolly etc does his own thing for a while , then meets me later when the sun is lower .
It's so much nicer than being around a pool as there is a constant breeze most of the time.

I would confirm previous post. There is absolutely no reason to feel self conscious about being alone on the beach at PP ...... I have done it loads of times and the thought has never crossed my mind. To be honest, better a nice quiet spot on the beach than round a pool full of kids.

Depends on where in the port the property is - the Rosa Blanca opposite the Habitat apartments have a pool for customers to use - you just need to be seen to buy the odd drink/coffee. They also do food but there are a couple of other restaurants in the area, Aries is very good value (Raffa, the owner, use to work at Tots years ago) and the newly opened Stefanos.

The beaches are nothing to worry about - everyone is there for the same reason, relaxing, swimming and of course, a spot of sun. Our children have always made new friends easily while my Parents have happily sat reading a book - the beach really is what you want it to be.
