I know this has been asked a couple of times before on here but I wonder if anyone has any further/newer recommendations?

I'm looking for a villa in the Pollensa area that would allow some nude sunbathing. By 'allow', I mean any terrace or pool is not overlooked or provide some form of cover. Anyone stayed in a villa in the Pollensa area that they think might fit the bill?

Any that we've stayed at in the past were either overlooked or the pool area was very open risking sight by passers by. It's quite difficult sometimes to get a view from any website advert just how private a pool is when it's claimed.

For instance this one - Casa Horta De Pollenca in Pollensa Old Town | VillaParade - claims privacy but the neighbours overlook one side of the pool, albeit the owners have tried to shield it somewhat and neighbours would have to hang out the windows somewhat!

If i don't get any recommendations I'll make some calls to agents...

Would you not be better trying to find a nudist beach? lol

You will be better in the countryside near pollensa than in the town.

Two that we have stayed in last year that are suitable for your needs are from sealand villas who's advert was found on this site:

The property is surrounded by a fence covered in Ivy and the gate is fairly solid and locks :)

Google streetview, ( the google camera is on a tall pole hence it can see over the wall, people in cars or walking cant see and no one walks past as this is a dead end lane)

Another really good one is Les Oliveras, One of the most luxurious rental properties in the north and looks way better in real life than the pictures online, it is like a small boutique 5 star hotel with just you staying :)

Costs a lot at peak season but early season or October is reasonable for the quality and October is lovely and there are fig trees on the drive :)

On a very open large plot but private as no close neighbours that overlook.

I agree with Mark - Much better to choose one of the lanes around Pollensa Town.

Off the main cockerell roundabout, you have the lanes PMV2202 and PMV2201 and Cami de Lienaire, just up the road. All are lined with properties with plenty of space around them.

You don't mention how big the property needs to be, but some of the smaller properties do get booked a very long time in advance.

God luck with your hunt - Just be on standby for surprise appearances by gardeners and the man that never comes to do the pool, but does the moment you "nod off" in the nude.

Thanks for your help folks. I kinda guessed those outside the town would be better options and certainly those you've suggested Mark look promising.

Your suggestion lovemallorca reminded me of a villa we stayed in off the 2201 some years back which would have been ideal were it not for the owner who used some of the out houses to store some agricultural equipment and visited several times in the week we stayed there!

We wouldn't be going high season so hopefully we can still find domething suitable.

Finally nudist beaches are fine David82 - except there are other people there, at the viilla it's just us. :)
