no jokes about hurricane season !! i was there two septembers ago ( Alcudia) when there really was a hurricane !!! Huge hail stones and big black clouds !! it was in the bulletin the next day... mind you, although it was a little scarey it was very exciting. crammed in to one of the beach bars, watching it all happen.. the best bit was getting it on video !!! Yippeeeee!!!
We haven't experienced one since though... but do look forward to the good old storms when they happen as they are magnificent ( and usually an hour later the weather is back to it's wonderful self again )!!!

jonnybob,

Hi, welcome to the forum.

You want info on PP? this is the place.

I joined about five years ago, a bit trepid to start, but after reading all of the posts, I built up an understanding about PP and surrounding area.

The great thing is that there is always something new to discover, either from "old hands" answers to newbies, and by personal experience.

In any event enjoy, September is when we enjoy PP, can be mixed with fabulous thunderstorms which entertain at night and disappear by magic in the morning.

p.s. maybe too much vino re."thunderstorms".

Regards

Quote from todays Bulletin, National Met Office-
"Its going to be cloudy during the early part of the day with possibility of light rainfall which maybe accompanieed by "mud showers" . "....and as I type this the SUN has just popped out ! lol

Yes, this morning you could clearly see those lucky enough to park their cars overnight in a garage and those that have to park out in the street. All the cars were a dark brown - as is my balcony, my balcony furniture, my plants - fortunatley when that very hot air started to blow I brought it my washing or else it would have been back into the wash today. Freak weather over mainland and did you see poor Ciudadella in Menorca where the waves reached 3 or 4 metres and have washed away cars, boats etc.etc. It was over in a very quick time but what an awfal mess.. . . .
