Hi roig cat, not that I've noticed but I'll endeavour to check this out tomorrow. The weather here in PP was a bit dodgy midweek but the last two days have been spectacular

Steve.

The almond blossom, is just starting now, maybe because of all the warm weather they have been having, traveling up and down to Palma you can see the odd tree starting, wont be long before they all burst open!

Blossom appears to begin earlier in the south, these pics taken today at Sa Trapa, near Sant Elm.

You can see these trees in the foreground here with the little island of Dragonera behind:

It was a good walk of 15kms and reasonably strenuous, starting and finishing from S'Arracó. Too far south for the Charles Davis book though, and a fair drive from PP, but it was worth it and what a fantastic day we've had here today!

The route is covered in the sunflower book (No.2) and the June Parker book (No.66). I should have time to update the blog tomorrow.

HI Brisbane, thanks for posting these beautiful photos, there is something about Almond Blossom, maybe because of the stunning scenery in the background?

Your walk is probably in Charles Davis other Mallorca book "walk Mallorca West" Walks 13 and 14 start at S'Arroco.

Great pics Steve, thanks for posting, we didn't do the walk but drove all the way around to here when the kids were small, we stood on the cliffs looking across to the island, amazing views down there!
