Great photos sparky, thanks for sharing them. Just to remind us this is the new footpath for the public to walk around the inlet by the bridge?

Thanks Sparky photos were great, that's a part of the town that needed being done up.

And the Saint Antoni photos were great too, thanks for slaving over a hot laptop!

Brilliant bit of investment and work by the council, hopefully it will be well used. The council must do something about the dog mess in the park and the street along side it (the one with Trotters bar in it) Great photos sparky showing another side to PP

Had a walk around La Gola last trip, its very nice they have done a good job on it, you can use it as a short cut from el Pinaret through to the beach road, you can come out by the new Bar Med. When all the new trees they have planted grow bigger it will be a pleasant walk through.

Just reading that they may not reopen the center there this year, it has been well used by mostly British visitors, but I suppose funds are low and choices have to be made, hopefully they can re open it and finish off all the work they promised to do. If you haven't been around it yet, give it a try its beautiful there, here a clip from TV in 2010 showing its location and nice shots of the area

Even if the actual 'Centre de Turisme' isn't open - I've never actually seen it open on my last couple of visits - please don't let it put you off doing the walk around La Gola itself. It's a pleasant, interesting walk - 'Centre' open or not!
Interesting video SWS, thanks for the link.
