Default seeds bought in mallorca

Could anybody help me identify some seeds we purchased a few years ago, can't exactly remember where we bought them, probably the carrefour.
the first year we grew them in a pot and they never flowered. This year we put them in the ground an d they have grown about three to four foot tall with grey velvety leaves and lovely small white and pink heads and i can't find what they are anywhere,of course my husband never kept the packet, blame him,so does any one know what they are?,please.

How interesting! Is it a cyclamen perhaps? In case not the bonfire advice seems good!

I bought some camellia seeds a few years ago but sadly they didn't grow. Have also bought novely grow your own banana tree etc but no feedback on these!

Hi,

I found this website which looked interesting - lots of photos of plants found in Mallorca.

www.nature-diary.co.uk/mallorca/index.htm

Perhaps you could also post a photo on Flickr or on here and someone might recognise it.

And as for the mention of wakkibaccius, I have a feeling this means cannabis!

Not sure whether Carrefour would sell that!

Lovely photos!

They're definitely not cannabis! I've seen it growing wild!

Whatever it is, it's a beautiful plant - looks to me like some sort of herbaceous plant?

I hope you find out what it is because I'd like it in my garden!

Jiggy!

I'll tell you in the Tapas Bar how I know about cannabis!

But, ahem, back to the topic...

I think you could be right!

I had a look here:

www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/plants/plant_finder/plant_pages/211.shtml

Is this it?

Yep agree - looks like blindweed or "Morning Glory" the climbing version grows everywhere in PP. More info here:

Thanks everyone, but although on your link Jane the description sounds right the picture isn't right, these aren't bells, they are just round, thanks jigggy as well, they look very similar, but the foliage, isn't the same, and also they were evergreen come to think of it,they didn't die off in the winter.I am trying to grow Melons bought in Mallorca, also Hibiscus bought there, and morning Glory which we bought here, which i remember seeing in PP and thinking, lucky things even their bindweed is prettier then ours, but apparently it needs heat to get going, still waiting. We also bought Tomato seeds.I was thinking maybye it is a spanish version of convulvulus, what do you think anyone?.
