Did you spot the brief view from Puerto Pollensa south beach just after the opening shots on Formentor?

We are hoping to get to Cabrera this year to see the unique lizzards. A ferry runs from Colonia de Sant Jordi to Cabrera. Does anyone know if there are any other places that the boat to Cabrera starts from?

Apparently they also go from Porto Petro:

As well as boat trips from Colonia de Sant Jordi harbour, you can also take a boat from the Porto Petro harbour (tel: 971 65 70 12). Boat trips will set you back about 30 euros. Boats from Porto Petro harbour leave at 9.30am on Sundays in June and at 9.30 am on Mondays to Fridays from July to September. You will need to pre-book here as well.

Has anyone been?

More on trips to Cabrera as have just bought the latest Rough Guide (looks good & updated) - see www.puertopollensa.com/books-on-majorca.html

For daily trips to Cabrera from Colonia Sant Jordi see www.excursionsacabrera.com - cost is about 35 eur.

In summer there is a boat from Porto Petro on Fridays at 9:30 costs 32 eur - reservations essential on 971 65 70 12
