My daughter is a huge fan of reptiles partcularly lizard species. I know there is a reptilium at the Festival Park shopping centre, but do the mountainous areas in Puerto pollensa have any lizards ? tia

Hi 22mia
We had a villa in the Gommar district of PP 3 years ago, and we regulary had them visiting us at the villa!:eek . usually about 3 inches long, cute little things. So i,m sure youre bound to find some in the mountains.
Have a good time

Walk along the pinewalk in the evenings and you will see small lizards inside the lamps

Also sevral to be found on the wals of the villa's ..... you have to sit and wait for a quiet moment and then they venture out

Had a baby one in the apartment 3 days ago... and no husband just a squealing friend :eek

'Get rid of it 'she screamed which is not an easy task the speed they can move! Finally caught him with the glass and card manoeuver (that's my best shot at spelling it!) and after naming him Eddie I pleaded with her that we should keep him as a pet As she ran away yelling I decided it was probably a bad idea , so took him downstairs and set him free! He was a cutey 'tho

Thats why I love going to the older properties available, they are always there to greet you when you come home! Dont get any in the apartments - Debz, you were honoured!!

Many years ago we had one in our hotel bathroom,i freaked out and wouldn't use it , the bar men found found it highly amusing when hubby told them. They called it a dragon and convinced me it was harmless to humans, and that would eat all the mozzies. So i've liked them ever since and if we find one in the flat it gets named Pepe.
