Thank you, I Totally misunderstood this! I thought I was pretty sharp with understanding things like this having travelled a few times through the strictest covid days! I’m grateful for the clarification

Are we going to get another booster? The Spanish regs only allow vaccinations up to 270 days old so come September they'll no longer be valid (I had my booster early december).

If you read the Gov.U.K. Spanish Covid entry requirements you will see there is no time stipulation for when you had your booster. This is the same for most European countries. So if you have had your booster you are fully vaccinated as far as the Spanish are concerned.

Ahhh, so if you've had the original 2 shots they are only valid for 270 days after the last one, but, if you've had a booster then your certificate is effectively permanent.

12 to 18 year olds are exempt from the booster clause and considered fully vaxed after 2 shots.

When we arrived on the 4th, we all had our apps or print outs ready for scrutinising only for the 12 hi-vis vested officials to just wave all but the first 20 passengers through. As long as you had a phone or piece of paper in your hand they would let you through.

This is not the norm please do not read this and take a chance . You will need to be sure your Vaccine certificate is valid and up to date and in accordance with current rules for entry . See UK gov site if you are not sure .
I travel almost weekly, and have had mine checked each and every time and all the passengers around me the same .
Please do not think you can wave a peace of paper or a phone and get through .

Agree, you should have the official documents required in paper or on your phone, however I was merely commenting that the day we arrived they were extremely lackadaisical about it and did not even look at the vast vast majority of passengers from my plane.
