The Brits will only be allowed in when it is safe and that means an improvement in your numbers, it has nothing to do with Brexit or democracy.

My neighbours are from Amsterdam and have been trying to fly back since March. They assure me that there are no direct flights from Amsterdam to Palma, only a 2 stop option via Austria which takes 22 hours!

We should have been arriving today

Tonight we would have been at Borras to watch the Hustlers and normally eat wherever the music is as well

We transferred it all to next year and hope all will be back to normal then as wouldnt want to come now if we were allowed as it looks so quiet

We fly from Bournemouth and they have about 40 BA planes there at the moment and it looks very strange

Enjoy yourselves anyone who does get there and we will see you all next year

Feel really sad today as we should have arrived in PP this morning. Hopefully will be able to get out late August or early September. Hope all visitors, locals and businesses stay safe.

Whilst not in EU we are still in transition period which means both sides still follow the same rules. However, we are not and never have been in Schengen which is what is going to be opened first.

Lets hope Spain properly swab tests people arriving from high risk countries on arrival to prevent another outbreak.

Recently in the Guardian newspaper there was an article where a flight arriving in Greece had 12 out of 91 passengers testing positive.

That's about 10% that boarded a flight with Covid

Much as we love PP we are not even considering visiting this year. We realise that the economy will be badly hit by the lack of tourists......but so will every country. Why travel and run the risk of keeping this horrible virus from spreading all over again. If everyone stayed at home this summer there is more chance of having a 'normal' holiday next year. Second waves are happening elsewhere and I, for one would not want that to happen if at all possible. Please consider what is more important......stay home.......stay safe!

Looks like my trip on 16th July might actually happen then....Fingers crossed!

I was supposed to have had a load of work done to my house in April/May, which obviously didn't happen, so might try and get some of it done when I come out.

Looks like you will have plenty of time, the latest news is that you will have to be in quarantine for 2 weeks on arrival .

This could change if the UK drops their quarantine regs .

That's extraordinary! - and makes you think that there must be way more people who are asymptomatic than we realise. Apparently the majority of the new cases in Beijing are also asymptomatic - is the virus actually weakening? Let's hope so....
