Default Summer 2020 flights

Hi
Just booked Maricel apartments for July 2020 after a year away from PP (puppy stopped hols this year!)
Jet2.com want £996 for 2 adults and a child from Leeds to Manchester?
Do you think it’s worth hanging on??
Thanks. X

My sister in law is keen to book there at the end of July for her family. Did you book direct?

Jet2 flights are just silly prices now - we booked flights a year in advance for last June and they cost £750 for 2 adults. The cost for checked in hold luggage really makes a big difference. It's nice to know your flights are booked - but at a price!!

last year I checked Jet2 And EasyJet from Newcastle to PMI and for two of s the EasyJet flight was £250 cheaper and the flight times only 50 minutes apart.

The silly thing is that it is cheaper to go to New York.

Have you considered Liverpool, Easyjet have always been good for us from Liverpool even though I am near Hull at the other end of the M62.

Easyjet release summer 2020 flights this month on the 19th

Rosie, We live in Scotland and by default pay approx.£100 - £200 more for flights into Europe. However, we find that Jet2 offer us the extras we are happy to pay for a reasonably stress free flight.

Again it depends upon expectations and budget. We have no problem flying with EasyJet either, had some great flights with them.

Cheers,

Jimbo

Hi
Thanks everyone. I’ll hang on to see the easyJet prices. Knowing when they come out now helps.
Having flown with Jet2.com, easyJet and Ryanair , we prefer Jet2.com and they seem the least likely to cancel your flight etc!! But who knows ??
Crazy prices ! It’ll be worth it though to be back !

EasyJet flights for Summer 2020 out today. Just booked ours, but in my excitement booked the wrong day for return! Not only was the correct return date cheaper but they charged me the more expensive flights plus an extra £50 on top to make the change! Tried to phone but not a chance of getting through. At least I've got 9 months to save up the extra pounds!

Up at 5:30 this morning and flights released at 5:40. Now flights and seats booked for June and July. £65pp for July makes it well worth getting up early.

That's a good saving.
Was that from Manchester or Liverpool.

I looked at some flights in June on EJ but then checked BA from LGW and they were 40 cheaper each. I did book flights in July from EJ though.
