Easyjet Flight Club

Has anyone been invited into the easyjet flight club, I have and used it twice now.

1st time our flight cost went down by £40 quick phone call to a dedicated number quoted membership number credit issued which I used the book speedy boarding.

2nd time this week couple we were travelling with had to drop out had some replacement friends who wanted to come so name changes and we also had to change in bound flight all carried out FOC. Great service by Easyjet.

We have been members for a few years, and I agree that it very good. I thought membership was by invitation only though. You need to be frequent flyers to be invited.

Us too we have been member for a few years now and this year I booked flights for the the whole family May half term which reduced in price significantly I was able to get enough credit to pay for flights for two of us to Majorca in August including speedy boarding. It is by invitation only and the person named as a member must be on the flight, I booked and paid for flights for my son and his girlfriend to join us but that flight was not covered as I was not named on the booking. My son also uses Easyjet regularly and asked why he had not received the invitation but was told he had not quite reached the criteria.

Yes Snowy we're in the club! Very handy for changing flights when we decide to stay a bit longer in PP 😊

I have only flown twice with them & was offered their member deal ,I thought it was a con so took no notice ,will have to revisit.

EasyJet's Flight Club (which is free and by invitation only) is not the same thing as Easyjet's pay-for 'membership' club EasyJet Plus which provides for speedy check-in, speedy boarding (with two items of hand luggage permitted - one slightly larger than normal and an additional smaller item) and fast track security at some airports including Gatwick but not yet including Palma.

I have never been asked, but I agree with Oscar Wilde who said that he would
Never want to be a member of a club who would want him as a member

Disorderly 18-08-2017 16:54

But I bet Oscar Wilde would have a change of heart if he got a £420 refund against his July flights as we did this year!

sws97sdg 18-08-2017 17:01

I expect he would have done, how do you join!

We were offered it as a trial a couple of years ago as we are frequent flyers 😊

sws97sdg 18-08-2017 18:34

How frequent is frequent, we have flown with them at least twice a year for the last 10 years or so! Three times a year for the last few

EasyJet Flight Club - Is This The World's Least Rewarding "Recognition Scheme"?

(although I'd join if asked!!!!)

EasyJet don't publicise much around the criteria of selection for an invitation to join Flight Club but its CEO, Dame Carolyn McCall, has been quoted in interviews saying that 20 flights a year (so a return trip would be 2 flights) is the minimum threshold for an invitation to join but doesn't guarantee receiving one.

cumberland8 19-08-2017 00:18

As I said we have only flown twice not 20 & have been offered this scheme maybe we meet some other criteria.
