Can we buy online as well as at the stadium?
Do season ticket holders get first dibs?
Any tips on getting tickets would be appreciated.

Hi Toni.
You will probably need a bank loan for that game - and I should imagine there will be high demand for the Real Madrid game. Some people I know buy season tickets just so they can attend the Barcelona and Real Madrid games. They then sell their tickets back to the club for other game and if the club sells them they take a commission off. Although other tickets in that area of the ground have to be sold first before the club will sell them.
Kick off times for the games are normally announced 3-4 weeks before the game and then ticket details are announced on the Mallorca ticketing website. It will tell you when the tickets will be on sale from and then its a bit like getting Peter Kay tickets - you get in the queue and hope!

Just on from this, it may be that the Real Madrid game will be postponed due to Madrid playing in the World Club Championship. However there is difficulty in finding an alternative date (Madrid are actually playing in 5 different competitions over a 4 week period) so it may still go ahead and then they play in the WCC 3-4 days later. It will be confirmed in next week or so, so keep eyes peeled!!

Mallorca shocked the superstars from Madrid when an own goal by Nacho Fernández in the 13th minute looped over Andriy Lunin. Stung by the goal, Madrid had a succession of corners and took complete control of the match, but the Mallorca defence was proving to be resolute and the visitors were failing to capitalise on set pieces.

Well, Mallorca ended the season with a 3-0 win, and finished up in 9th place in the league. Could have been worse..

For a club whose recent history has been as precarious as the roads snaking up the looming Tramuntana mountains, one slogan popping up across the city of Palma perfectly encapsulates the mood ahead of Real Mallorca's Copa del Rey final on Saturday. "Venim de l'infern per tocar el cel" -- which translates as "We come from hell to touch heaven" -- is emblazoned on red posters being taped to bus stops, cafes and walls. It is quite a statement.

Athletic Bilbao win on penalties
Athletic Bilbao beat Mallorca 4-2 on penalties this morning to win their 24th Copa del Rey title and their first since 1984, ending a 40-year silverware drought in a nerve-wracking final in Seville.

Mallorca’s resolute defending kept Athletic from scoring again and dragged the game first to extra time and then penalties, but their resistance was ultimately in vain.

Cue fireworks and celebrations as Mallorca somehow managed to stay in the “promised land” of Spanish football for a fourth consecutive season.

Just seen that Real Mallorca are on a preseason tour in England. They play Crewe, Barnsley and West Brom over the next week.
Hundreds of miles away from me so unable to go.

From what I could find, the fixtures are
Crewe Alexandra - 21 July - 12:00
Barnslay - 26 July - 12:00
West Brom - 27 July - 13:00
Mallorca will have the pleasure to host Real Madrid for the the La Liga season opener on 18 August, 20:30
(as per Google search for RCD Mallorca fixtures)

Hi,
Is anyone here an expert at getting tickets for Real Mallorca?
I was looking at the Real Madrid game (and yes I know it is probably virtually impossible....) but on the official website it says "Tickets on sale soon" and "notify me". I have hit the notify button and filled in my details but other searches seem to suggest the tickets are already on sale (and I would think they would be this close) so I am not sure it is accurate?
I can see them being sold on seat pick for anywhere from £189 - £5k but not sure if they are genuine...
Would love to be able to take my son so any advice welcomed.
Thanks!
