Mallorca, who were promoted with Espanyol last season, were seven points behind the home side going into Sunday's match in LaLiga Santander - Mallorca, on a terrible run of five defeats in a row, one place above the relegation zone in seventeenth and Espanyol twelfth.

They really did well for a while.

With the remaining fixtures a home match next weekend against Atletico Madrid and away matches to Barcelona and Sevilla still to come, it's vital to get points in the other matches.

In Primera RFEF Group 2, Atlético Baleares sit 4th with 7 games to play. Only one team get automatically promoted to Segunda with the next 4 going into play offs. The regular season doesnt finish until the end of May with the play offs to follow. 5 clubs are relegated.

There is just 9 points between 5th (last play off) and 5th bottom!

Atlético Baleares next 3 games are against the 2nd teams of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Villarreal!
