Red face Trips to vinyards

We are going out in May with my parents and intend to take them to a couple of vinyards. Will obviously go to Can Vidalet, but also thinking of the newish one up by Lluc Monestary. I cant remember the name of it though, although I think Jane may have mentioned it somewhere. Is it worth going to and what others are interesting to visit? Have been to a couple of "off road" ones in Binnesalem, which were a disaster to be remembered, but also not too keen on the really commercialised ones where you are herded through.

ANYONE!!!

To inject some sanity into this thread...!

I recommended Mortitx - based near Lluc Monastery. There's a link here:

http://www.vinyesmortitx.com/

Hope this helps!!

bella we haven't been to it but drove past the Macia Batle bodgega in Santa Maria last week. Not sure if this is one of the commercialsed ones you were talking about but it looked nice.

We are planning to go to Can Vidalet in June ...do you just pitch up or do you have to book?

Looking at their website http://www.canvidalet.com/ - I think you only need to book if you want to go for the buffet meal which I thought sounded quite nice..

Default Trips to vineyards

Hi Bella!

I recall you raising the question of trips once before and that I replied.

Have a look at

www.illesbalearsqualitat.com, which will give up to date info on what vineyards are open and perhaps offer tours at the time you seek.

And www.maciabatle.com

will be a help too, I'd hope

Salut

Porto
