Default New - Days Out Page

We have just published the much requested Days Out page with information about excursions, boat trips, caves, water parks, country houses & much more.

Do look at the section on interesting towns with links to a wonderful site with photos & panoramas including several of Puerto Pollensa itself.

Visit www.puertopollensa.com/excursions.html and do post any feedback, experiences, suggestions for the page HERE.

I have recently visited La Reserva twice. It is a lovely place, beautiful waterfalls, caves, views etc. Nature almost in the raw, but tamed enough for you to hike around safely without over-regimentation. Absolutely super, even with lots of other people there I found we could walk for an hour without seeing a single human. Hundreds of peacocks, three bears in an enclosure so well-camouflaged I missed it the first trip, helpful staff, good falconry display. Natural springs with water safe for drinking are clearly marked and there are 2 or 3 refreshment areas but in hot weather take a bottle of mineral water with you -- there is a lot of walking involved. Highly recommended. If you're driving from the north of the island take the Via de Cintura towards Andraitx then the exit for Puigpunyent (3rd or 4th), La Reserva is very well signposted along the twisting road after Puigpunyent
