The thought of Magalluf sends me cold!! Sorry, we arrived at the airport last year for our flight home, to find out that there was a problem with our flight. We were taken to a hotel in Magalluf and had to spend 10 hours there.
We had to leave the lovely PP to go home, which was bad enough, but then to make us spend 10 hours in Magalluf was a hell of a culture shock and not one I would ever wish to repeat.

Sorry if I have just offended anyone!

Sara4, the first time on holiday in Mallorca the bus taking us to Cala Vinnes had to drop people off in Magaluff. I was shocked into total silence:eek . It was late on a Saturday night as we drove through the streets of Magaluff, I sent silent prayers that where we were going was 1,000,000 miles away from what i was watching through the bus windows. To describe it is difficult but I'll try.
I was a young boy when we as a family went to Longleats and drove through the wildlife safarri park, well instead of Lions, zebra and monkeys it was more like a reunion of the extras from Star Wars0] 0] 0] 0] 0] 0] . Instead of and English counrty estate it was more like a back street film lot of some Francis Ford Copala film on the Veitnam war just after the yanks had dropped napam on the red light district in Hanoi.

someone I know said it was Blackpool in the sun. nah this was more like Bedlam in the moonlight!.

I was interested to read that No Frills Tours actually pay people 39 Euros to go to Magaluff. Is this some kind of Mallocan Tourist Board ploy to make Magaluff look less like it's full of Star Wars Extras 0] 0] 0] and somewhere "normal" people 8) 8) :smokin :smokin :hat would pay to visit?. It would take more than 39 Euros to drag me back there!:rollin .
My advice stay at home and watch the movie.:lol

Take care.
