Default Western World

Debi,

I posted a similar answer on another thread, IMO although Alcudia is handy, yes it's a bit of a rip-off for what's on offer. Some of the rides are obsolete and the staff at bit grumpy. I remember trying some rides and the water drying up and being left stranded, how embarrassing , Western World is much better, they also have diving exhibitions etc. It's also next to the Aquapark at Magaluf which is far superior to Alcudia, cleaner, pleasant sunbathing areas, and some great rides. I challenge you to try the Boomerang :eek

The Aquapark, a lit further on at Arenal, is also well worth a visit, similar to Magaluf with modern rides.:eek

Suprisingly, they are much quieter than Alcudia.

I used to take the kids to Alcudia, but over the last 5 years or so have always made the effort to head to Magaluf and Arenal. Once the new motorway is complete you should manage both in 45 mins, they're easy to get to, a virtual straight road. :eek :lol

Default Water parks

Debi,

Ignore the emoticons at the end, they don't make sense.

smiddy, im in stitches here, just picturing you grinding to a halt, if your overweight, as i am....that would be soooo embarrassing......lol....i also heard the slides are that ancient, you injury yourself on the slides...

smiddy when you say "diving expedition", what does that entail, as partner is taking some diving gear of his, and i dont dive, but am willing/ going to learn :eek ...dispite my clostraphobia.... :lol ....but should be fun...so would be interested to know a bit about that, if poss. looked at the rides,

dare taken.....i will get back to you, on the boomerang ( :lol )

sorry couldnt resist
