:Tunel Herbes is a local drink with local herbes... often had as an after dinner drink, It comes in a sweet . dry and a mix version (mix is best ) it's green and you can often see the huge great bottles with little taps in them at the back of a lot of bars... (just a tip... ask for it over ice and you get more for your money !!!) and... to get us back on to the subject we are supposed to be discussing, it's really not a good idea to drink too much of it the night before going on the soller palma train !!!!!! (or any mode of transport at all really !!:x :x )

We watched the program on the train on one of the satellite channels - I think it was the travel channel.

Here it is www.travelchannel.co.uk/ontv/programmeAtoZ/soller_railway.htm with a 30 sec preview

Default Palma to Soller Train

When we were there in March it was only the train station in Palma for the Inca train that was affected by works going on at Plaza Espana. The station for the Soller train was not affected then but I don't know what the situation is now.

tresspass5 re your trip to soller have you tried the tunnel if your daughter gets a bit worried I know I used to going over the mountains but the tunnel is great for us scaredy cats!! puerto soller is another great place to stay lovely beach plenty going on in the daytime with the tram and fishermen mending nets. Don't expect a riotous night life doesn't happen but good restaurants and good company can't ask for much more

I would think after a couple of Tunels as in Hierbas the mountain roads wouldn't seem scary at all

I'm talking passengers not the driver!!
