Default Hi all

We're new members and soon to visit pp for 2 weeks. If anyone would like to email for places we must see then please feel free. Is there any other way of reaching the top of Calvari steps as Mrs D isnt very mobile. She's ok coming down but not going up and would love to visit.
regards
davvva

No problems. You can drive to the top of theCalvari Steps.
Start at the Roman Bridge end of town. Follow the signs and keep heading upwards!

I hope this is useful.

If you're new to Mallorca as well I'd definitely recommend the Soller train/tram trip as the best way to see a lot of the island in a day. It can involve very little walking so would be ideal for most people. There's more info on this page www.puertopollensa.com/excursions-majorca.html as well as other ideas for excursions. I'd also recommend the boat trip to Formentor and for Palma the open-top bus.

Hi davvva, try the short trip to Cala San Vicente, out of pp and back towards Pollensa, small coves in contrast to pp's large bay. When you drive in just keep going round the main road and you will fnd that there is a car park on your left behind the cafe, it was still free last year. It gets really busy in CSV on a weekend during the day with locals. If you have children there is also a good mini golf course near the bus stop on the way out of town, even my teenagers have to play there every day.
We always have a trip down the headland to Formentor, I have my eyes shut most of the time as it is a bit high up for me, but the beach is great if you don't fancy the journey right to the end.
Hope you have a really good break, I can't wait to go back next week!
