Default car trip to Lluc from PP

Can anyone tell me how far this is and the best route? I will be driving for the first time!

Also hiring from Hipercar in PP - I think - any recommendations?

Thanks. Tess

Tess this is a really simple journey - drive from Puerto Pollensa towards Pollensa Town. When you reach the roundabout on the edge of Pollensa town, go straight on ( signed Lluc )

Then just follow the signs - its a lovely route, a bit hilly and windy but nothing to be afraid of

Takes about 30mins

Enjoy

Just 4 euros for the day paid into the machine in the car park. Make sure you have change!

And the monastery wine is probably just as alcoholic, so stick to Adams Ale!

Its a lovely journey up into the mountains, and the roads are quiet. Be prepared more for lots of steering and gearchanging though, as it is winding.

Lots of places to stop for photos and as most other road users are doing the same thing, the pace is easy.

Once you are into the swing of it, why not continue and drop down into Soller and Port Soller? The main square in Soller is beautiful, with trams running straight through the middle!

Have a great day!

Valldemosa and Deià are a lovely day out, as is Soller and Port Soller.

I personally would suggest doing them as a day each, but it is completely your choice.

Valldemosa is easiest by motorway, and gives you longer there.

I go to Soller via the mountain road, there and back, but by the time I am back on the straight to Pollensa Town, I have had enough of corners and am longing for a straight bit! Accordingly, my suggestion would be mountain route going, and motorway back.

As a passenger i suffer from terrible car sickness and the trip from Deia to Pollensa on the mountain road always gets me! My advice would be to take travel sickness tabs!!
